Blocking Members
You can block another member if you don't want to see their content anymore. This page explains how blocking works and how to manage the members you've blocked.
Overview
Any logged-in member can block another member. Once you block someone, their comments and reviews are hidden from you everywhere they would normally appear, including course reviews and lesson comments. This applies both on the website and in the mobile app.
Staff and site admins cannot be blocked.
How to block a member
You'll find a Block action next to the existing Report action on:
- Course reviews
- Lesson comments
Click Block to hide that member's content from you. You don't need to give a reason.
If you want to flag content for a moderator to review instead of just hiding it for yourself, use Report. Reports on reviews land in the admin Reviews queue for moderation; see Reviews and the Comments section of Settings Overview.
Managing blocked members
Go to your account page and open the Blocked members list. It shows everyone you've blocked. Click Unblock next to a name to see their content again.
Tips
- Blocking is personal to you. It doesn't hide the member's content from anyone else, and it doesn't notify the member that you blocked them.
- Blocking hides comments and reviews. It doesn't remove the member's enrollment or course access.
