Every Learnomy certificate ships with a permanent public verification page, a QR code, and a PDF download. The verification page shows the recipient name, course, issue date, and a Valid or Revoked status - no login required.

Can we issue certificates that employers and other institutions can verify?
Yes. Every certificate has a permanent public URL at /verify/{uuid} with a QR code that links directly to it. Anyone can confirm the credential is genuine without a login. Learnomy Pro adds Ed25519 digital signatures, SHA-256 hash anchoring, and Open Badges 3.0 issuance for cross-platform recognition.
How do cohorts work for a class of students?
Cohorts (Pro) group students who enroll together and share a common start date, pace, and deadline. You enroll a cohort into a course and track each member's progress individually from a single view. Content drip can be set relative to the cohort start date rather than individual enrollment.
Does Learnomy support prerequisite sequences for a curriculum?
Yes. Learning Paths (Pro) chain courses together with configurable prerequisites. A student cannot start the next course until they complete the required one. You can build a full multi-course curriculum with a defined progression.
How are essay questions graded?
Submitted essays queue in an admin grading inbox. You assign a score and optional written feedback per response. The attempt finalizes automatically once every response has been graded. Instructors only see essays for courses they own; admins see all.
Does Learnomy meet GDPR requirements for student data?
Yes. Every student account supports a GDPR data export and a data erasure request through the built-in WordPress privacy tools. All student data - enrollments, quiz attempts, progress, transactions, certificates - lives on your own server.
Can we run Learnomy on our own servers rather than a cloud platform?
That is the design. Learnomy is a WordPress plugin - you install it on any server you control. Your student data never touches a third-party LMS platform.
