Do I need WooCommerce to take payments?
No. Learnomy ships with built-in Stripe and PayPal direct checkout. Action Scheduler is bundled so subscriptions, renewals, and webhooks work out of the box. WooCommerce is an optional third gateway you can connect if your site already runs it, but it is never required.
Can I offer both monthly and annual billing on the same plan?
Yes. Each membership plan supports separate Stripe Price IDs and PayPal Billing Plan IDs for monthly and annual intervals. Students choose their preferred billing cycle at checkout on the same plan page.
How does a free trial work?
Set a trial length in days on the membership plan editor. Students get access immediately and are not charged until the trial period ends. Cancellations during the trial do not generate a charge.
How does a 100% discount coupon work?
A coupon with 100% discount skips the Stripe or PayPal payment step entirely and enrolls the student directly without requiring a card. The transaction is recorded with a zero-amount row so your ledger stays complete.
Where can I see all my transactions?
Under Learnomy Commerce > Transactions. Every charge, renewal, and refund is recorded with the gateway transaction ID, amount, currency, and commission split. Export any date range to CSV.
What membership analytics does Pro add?
Learnomy Pro adds a Membership Analytics page showing active subscriber count, MRR, ARR, 30-day churn rate, and a cohort retention grid that shows how well each monthly signup cohort retains over time. All data is exportable to CSV.
