Transcript

In this tutorial you will turn modules on or off in Learnomy. Each big feature, such as quizzes, certificates or coupons, is a module with its own switch. You need the free Learnomy plugin. Step five shows Learnomy Pro. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open Modules. Read a module card. Know the locked modules. Turn a module on or off. Then find the Pro modules. Step one. Open Modules. In your WordPress admin, open L M S Settings, then Modules. The modules are cards in groups. Core comes first, then Content, Student experience, Commerce and more. Step two. Read a module card. Take Quizzes. The card has the name, a line about what the module does, and a switch in its corner. A blue switch means the module is on. The list under it shows what the switch turns on or off. For Quizzes, that is the Quizzes, Question Bank and Grading menus in the admin, and the quiz player on your site. Step three. Know the locked modules. Courses, Enrollments and Progress are the core. Each card says Required, cannot be disabled. Payments is locked while anything on your site has a price. Its card says so. Remove every price and plan, and its switch is free again. Step four. Turn a module on or off. Click the switch on its card. Here the pointer is on Coupons, and the switch is not clicked. There is no Save button. The change is stored at once, and the page reloads. A module that is off loses its menus and its pages. Nothing it holds is deleted. Turn it on again and everything is back. If a module still has something live, Learnomy asks you to confirm before it turns off. Step five. Find the Pro modules. With Learnomy Pro active, its extensions appear here as cards with a Pro badge, such as Content Drip or Assignments, and turn on and off like the others. Without Pro, a notice at the top of this page links to the list of Pro features. That is all five. Modules opened, a card read, the locked modules known, a module turned on or off, and the Pro modules found. Your site now runs only the parts of Learnomy you use. Next in this series: Know who can do what.

What customers say on Trustpilot

Top notch support

Top notch support! I've been frustrated generally by the slow support for most themes and plugins, but they are helpful and quick to reply. Highly recommend!
