Transcript

In this tutorial you will read your admin dashboard in Learnomy. It is the first page of the plugin, and it sums up your courses, your students and your sales. You need the free Learnomy plugin. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open the Dashboard. Read the six numbers. Follow the Getting Started guide. Use the shortcuts and charts. Then see what needs you. Step one. Open the Dashboard. In your WordPress admin, open Learnomy. Dashboard is the first row of its menu. View Frontend, at the top of the page, opens your course catalog in a new tab, so you can check what visitors see. Step two. Read the six numbers. Total Courses counts every course on the site. Active Enrollments counts the enrolments that are running now. Transactions is the number of payments recorded, not an amount of money. Certificates Issued is how many certificates students have earned. The last two are work waiting for you. Pending Reviews are course reviews to approve. Instructor Applications are people who have asked to teach. Step three. Follow the Getting Started guide. At the top of a new site is a guide, with a short list of steps to launch. The line under the welcome shows how many are complete. Each step that is still open has a button that takes you to the right screen. An optional step also has Skip. Dismiss, at the top right, hides the whole guide. You can bring it back later. None of these is clicked here. Step four. Use the shortcuts and charts. Quick Actions has buttons for the pages you open most. Under it, View Frontend opens the pages your students use. Enrollment Trends and Revenue are charts over time. Each has three buttons. Seven days, thirty days and ninety days. Here, ninety days is clicked on Enrollment Trends. Step five. See what needs you. Top Courses lists your five busiest courses, with their students, revenue and completion rate. Recent Transactions shows the latest sales, with who bought what. And when someone has applied to teach, a card near the bottom says so. Review Applications takes you to the list. It is not clicked here. That is all five. The Dashboard opened, the six numbers read, the guide followed, the shortcuts and charts used, and the waiting work found. One page now tells you how your academy is doing. Next in this series: Turn modules on or off.
