Transcript

In this tutorial you will manage your students in Learnomy. You will find a student, read their history, and give or remove access to a course. You need the free Learnomy plugin, and at least one enrolled student. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open Students. Find a student. Open the student. Grant course access. Then reset progress or remove access. Step one. Open Students. In your WordPress admin, open Learnomy, then Students. Everyone enrolled in at least one course is listed. Each row shows how many courses the student has, their completion rate, and when they were last active. Step two. Find a student. Type a name or an email address in the search box, then click Search. The list next to it finds students who have gone quiet. Inactive for seven, fourteen or thirty days and more. Step three. Open the student. Click the name, or click View. One page holds everything about that student. Learning summary counts their courses, completions and certificates, and what they have spent. Step four. Grant course access. In the card called Grant Course access, pick a course the student is not in yet. Then click Grant access. The student is enrolled by hand, with no payment. It is the fix when a purchase did not go through. Step five. Reset progress or remove access. Course enrollments lists every course the student has, with status, progress and where the enrollment came from. Reset progress clears their finished lessons and quiz attempts for that course. They stay enrolled and start again. Remove access takes the course off their dashboard. Their progress is kept, so you can give access back later. That is all five. Students opened, a student found and opened, course access granted, and progress reset or access removed. You can now answer any student who asks about their access. Next in this series: Save courses to a wishlist.
