Transcript

In this tutorial you will see how students save courses to a wishlist in Learnomy, and where they find them again. You need the free Learnomy plugin, and a student login. The wishlist is only for signed in students. It takes about two minutes. There are four steps. Find the heart on a course card. Save a course. Open the wishlist. Then enroll, or remove a course. Step one. Find the heart on a course card. Sign in as a student and open Courses. Each card has a heart in its top corner. A course the student is already enrolled in has no heart. There is nothing to save for later. Step two. Save a course. Click an empty heart, and the course is saved to the wishlist. The heart fills in, like this one on a course that was saved earlier. The list is kept on the student's account, so it is the same on every device. Step three. Open the wishlist. In My Account, click Wishlist in the menu on the left. It opens the Wishlist tab of My Courses, with every saved course and a count. Step four. Enroll, or remove a course. Each saved course keeps its usual card. One the student can buy has a Buy link, so they can start when they are ready. Once they enroll, the course leaves the wishlist by itself. To take a course off the list sooner, click its filled heart again. That is all four. The heart found on a course card, a course saved, the wishlist opened, and a saved course enrolled in or removed. Your students can now keep a course for later. Next in this series: Set course prerequisites.
