In this tutorial you will find your way around the Learnomy admin, so you know where everything lives before you build a course. You need the free Learnomy plugin, installed and active. It takes about three minutes. There are six steps. Open the Learnomy menu. Find your course content. Find your students. Find the money. Find the settings. Then see the student side. Step one. Open the Learnomy menu. In your WordPress admin, click Learnomy. It opens on the Dashboard. Learnomy adds its own menus, one under the other. Learnomy runs the academy. L M S Settings sets it all up. L M S Commerce handles the money, and appears once you turn on memberships, coupons or commissions. The Dashboard itself shows enrollments, revenue and your top courses. Step two. Find your course content. Under Content, open Courses. Every course is listed with its status, students and price. Lessons, Quizzes, Question Bank and Categories sit in the same group. Step three. Find your students. Under People, open Students. You see who is enrolled, how far they are, and when they were last active. Instructors is in the same group. Under Engagement you have Reviews and Announcements, and Certificates when that module is on. Step four. Find the money. Open L M S Commerce. The Overview asks what you want to sell. Memberships, Subscriptions and Coupons are under Sell. Earnings and Transactions are under Money. Step five. Find the settings. Open L M S Settings, then Settings. The sections are listed down the side. Click a section to open it. Payments holds your payment gateways. Modules, in the same menu, switches whole features on and off. Step six. See the student side. Sign in as a student and open Courses on your site. This is the catalogue your students browse. Their own courses, certificates and billing are under My Account. That is all six. The Learnomy menu, your course content, your students, the money, the settings, and the student side. You now know where everything lives in Learnomy. Next in this series: Create a course.
