Transcript

In this tutorial you will manage your instructors in Learnomy. One screen lists the people who teach on your site. You need the free Learnomy plugin, and at least one instructor. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open Instructors. Read the list. Open an instructor. Read their courses and earnings. Then find Suspend. Step one. Open Instructors. In your WordPress admin, open Learnomy, then Instructors. The list holds the instructors you have approved. People who have applied and are waiting are on the Applications tab. Step two. Read the list. Each row has the number of courses, what the instructor has earned in total, and what is still waiting to be paid out. To find one person, type a name or an email in the search box and click Search. Step three. Open an instructor. Click their name, or View at the end of the row. Their page opens on the Profile card. It has the date they joined, and what they have added to their public profile. The buttons at the top open their public profile, verify them, or make their courses wait for your approval. Step four. Read their courses and earnings. The Earnings card has the total earned, the pending payout, and this instructor's commission rate. This instructor has not earned from sales yet. Further down, the courses card lists each course they teach, their role in it, its status and its students. Step five. Find Suspend. Back on the list, Suspend is at the end of each row. It is not clicked here. A suspended instructor is hidden from the public directory, and students can no longer enrol in their courses on their own. You can still enrol a student yourself. The courses stay published, students already enrolled keep their access, and money already owed is not touched. The same button then reads Resume, which undoes it. There is no delete button for an instructor. That is all five. Instructors opened, the list read, an instructor opened, their courses and earnings read, and Suspend found. You now know where each instructor on your site is looked after. Next in this series: Edit an instructor profile.
