Transcript

In this tutorial you will see a Learnomy course the way a student does: enroll, take a lesson, and track progress. You need the free Learnomy plugin, a published course, and a student account to sign in with. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Find a course. Enroll. Open a lesson. Mark the lesson complete. Then track your progress. Step one. Find a course. Sign in as a student and open Courses on your site. Search, or browse the cards. Each card has a button. Enroll for a free course, Buy for a paid one, and Start or Continue for a course you already have. Step two. Enroll. Open the course page. The box on the right shows the price. This course is Free. Click Enroll Now and the course is yours. A paid course says Buy Now, and takes you to checkout first. Step three. Open a lesson. Open a course you are enrolled in. It shows Enrolled, and how much you have completed. Click Continue learning. On a course you have not opened yet, the button says Start Course. The lesson opens where you left off, with the curriculum on the left. Step four. Mark the lesson complete. Watch or read the lesson, then click Complete. Course progress, at the bottom of the curriculum, moves up. Step five. Track your progress. Open My Courses in My Account. Every course you joined is here, with its progress. Use the tabs to see what is In Progress and what is Completed. That is all five. A course found, the Enroll button shown, a lesson opened, the lesson marked complete, and progress tracked in My Courses. You have now seen your course the way a student does. Next in this series: Connect a payment gateway.
