Transcript

In this tutorial you will add a quiz to a course in Learnomy, so you can test what students have learned. You need the free Learnomy plugin, with the Quizzes module on, and a course to attach the quiz to. It takes about three minutes. There are six steps. Open Quizzes and add a quiz. Name it and pick a mode. Attach it to your course. Add questions. Set the passing score. Then see the quiz as a student. Step one. Open Quizzes and add a quiz. In your WordPress admin, open Learnomy, then Quizzes. Click Add New Quiz. The quiz editor opens. Step two. Name it and pick a mode. Type the Quiz Title. Then choose a Mode. Graded counts toward finishing the course. Practice does not affect progress. Survey collects answers without a grade. Step three. Attach it to your course. From here the screen shows a quiz that is already saved, so you can see each field filled in. Still in the Basic section, pick the Course. Then pick a Section and, if you want, a Lesson. With no section, the quiz becomes the final assessment at the end of the course. Step four. Add questions. Scroll to the Questions card and click Add questions from bank. The picker opens. Search the bank, tick the questions you want, then click Add selected. Need a new question? Create new question opens the question editor. Step five. Set the passing score. In the Grading section, drag Passing score. Seventy percent is the default. Set a Time limit and an Attempt limit if you need them. Then set Status to Published and save the quiz. Step six. See the quiz as a student. Sign in as a student and open the course. The quiz is listed in the course outline. Open it, and the start screen shows a Start Quiz button. That is all six. A quiz added, named and given a mode, attached to your course, filled with questions, given a passing score, and checked as a student. Your course can now test what students learned. Next in this series: Set a price, or make the course free.
