In this tutorial you will use the Review board exam layout in Learnomy. It is made for long exams, where students want to move around freely. You need Learnomy Pro. The layout is one of its three extra quiz layouts. You also need the Quizzes module, and a quiz with questions. It takes about three minutes. There are four steps. Pick Review board. Open the exam as a student. Work through the board. Then find the result later. Step one. Pick Review board. Open Learnomy, then Quizzes, and edit your quiz. In the section called Behaviour, go to Display template and click the Review board card. It has a Pro badge. In the same section, tick Group questions by category if you want the list split by subject. It is ticked on this quiz. Then click Update Quiz. Here the layout is already stored, so nothing is clicked. Step two. Open the exam as a student. Now sign in as a student and open the quiz. The start screen lists the rules: twelve questions, thirty minutes, and the passing score. The last rule is from this layout. Review board, jump to any question at any time. Step three. Work through the board. Click Start Quiz. The questions are in a list on the left, and the one you are on is on the right. Across the top are the number answered, the clock, and Submit. The clock runs for the whole exam. With grouping on, the list has one group for each subject, with a count of how many are answered. Click a heading to fold its group. Click any question in the list and it opens. Previous and Next move one question at a time. Not sure of an answer? Click the flag in the corner of the question. The list marks it with a flag. Above the list are three filters. All, Unanswered and Flagged. Flagged leaves the questions you marked. Unanswered leaves what is still open, which is the one to check near the end. Here most of the remaining questions are answered quickly, and two are left open. Submit hands the exam in. The result has the score, a Score by category panel, and each question for review. A question left open counts against its category. Step four. Find the result later. Open My Account, then Quiz Attempts. The exam is listed with its score and the date. Click Review, and the questions are there again, grouped by subject, with how many were right in each. That is all four. Review board picked, the exam opened as a student, the board worked through, and the result found later. Your long exams are now easy to move around in. Next in this series: Use the Sectioned exam layout.
