Transcript

In this tutorial you will grade quiz submissions in Learnomy. Most questions are graded for you. Essay answers need a person. You need the free Learnomy plugin, and a quiz with an essay question. It takes about two minutes. There are five steps. Open Grading. Open an attempt. Read the answer. Give a score and feedback. Then check the Graded tab. Step one. Open Grading. In your WordPress admin, open Learnomy, then Grading. The number beside the menu item is how many attempts are waiting. Each row is one attempt, with the student, the quiz, when it was submitted, and how many answers still need a grade. Step two. Open an attempt. Click Grade on the row. The grader opens, with the student and the quiz named at the top. Step three. Read the answer. The card shows the question, its type, and the most marks it can earn. Here that is ten. Under Student Answer is what the student wrote. Step four. Give a score and feedback. Type the Score, from zero up to the most marks. Feedback is optional. The student sees it with their result. Then click Save grade. When the last answer of an attempt is graded, Learnomy works out the final result and the student can see it. Step five. Check the Graded tab. A finished attempt leaves the Awaiting grading list. It moves to Graded, where you can look back at a score or the feedback you left. On this site the tab is empty, because nothing was saved. That is all five. Grading opened, an attempt opened, the answer read, a score and feedback given, and the Graded tab checked. Your students now get a result for their written answers. Next in this series: Use the student account.
