Transcript

In this tutorial you will see your students as an instructor in Learnomy. One page lists the students in the courses you teach. You need the free Learnomy plugin, and an instructor account. No module has to be turned on for it. It takes about two minutes. There are five steps. Open Students. Read the roster. Search for a student. Open a student. Then read their progress. Step one. Open Students. Sign in as an instructor and open the Instructor Dashboard. In its menu, click Students. The page lists the students in courses you wrote or help to teach. Students of other instructors are left out. A site administrator who opens this page gets every student on the site. Step two. Read the roster. Each student has one row, even when they are in several of your courses. Enrolled is how many of your courses they are in. Completed is how many of those they have finished. Both numbers count your courses only. The roster shows twenty students on a page. The page links are under the table. Step three. Search for a student. Type a name or an email in the search box. Then click Search. The roster keeps only the students who match. Clear the box and search again to get everyone back. Step four. Open a student. Here the roster is searched for one surname. Click the student's name, or View at the end of the row. The student page opens with their name, and a line that counts the courses of yours they are in and the ones they have completed. Step five. Read their progress. The table has one row for each of your courses this student has joined. Progress is how much of the course they have done, as a percentage. Status reads Completed on all three here. A course that is not finished reads In progress. The last column is the date they enrolled. Courses by other instructors are not listed. All Students, above the name, goes back to the roster. That is all five. Students opened, the roster read, a student searched for, a student opened, and their progress read. You now know who is in your courses, and how far each one has got. Next in this series: Approve courses before they go live.
