How to sell a course on another site in Learnomy, step by step: open Pricing and Access, choose Access granted externally (no on-site checkout), add a button that links to where the course is sold, update the course and give access yourself, and see the result as a student.
In this tutorial you will set up a Learnomy course that is sold somewhere else, such as your own store. Nothing is sold on the course page. You need the free Learnomy plugin, and a course. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open Pricing and Access. Choose Access granted externally. Add a button to where it is sold. Update the course and give access. Then see it as a student. Step one. Open Pricing and Access. In your WordPress admin, open Learnomy, then Courses, and click Edit on your course. In the course form, scroll down to the Pricing and Access section. Step two. Choose Access granted externally. It is the last choice in the list. It means no on-site checkout. There are no price fields, because nothing is sold here. The line below sums it up. Students cannot buy the course here. You grant access. Step three. Add a button to where it is sold. Custom button label is the text on the button. Here it says Request Access. Custom button URL is where the button goes. Your own checkout, or a contact form. Both are optional. Leave both blank, and the course page shows a plain note instead. Enrollment is managed externally. Step four. Update the course and give access. Click Update Course in the Publish box. Then let your buyers in yourself. On the course screen, the Enroll a Student card adds one person, or a whole list. The last two tutorials show how. Step five. See it as a student. Sign in as a student and open the course. Where the price would be, it says Sold externally. The button carries your label, and opens your link in a new tab. There is no Buy Now button, and no checkout. That is all five. Pricing and Access opened, Access granted externally chosen, a button added, the course updated and access given, and the result checked as a student. Your course is now sold where you want, and taught here. Next in this series: Make a course invite only.
