How to edit an instructor profile in Learnomy, step by step: open Edit profile in the Instructor Dashboard, write About you, add your links, save, and see the public profile as a student.

In this tutorial you will edit an instructor profile in Learnomy, the way an instructor does. It is the public page students see for that instructor. You need the free Learnomy plugin, and an instructor account. It takes about two minutes. There are five steps. Open Edit profile. Write About you. Add your links. Save the profile. Then see the public profile. Step one. Open Edit profile. Sign in as an instructor and open the Instructor Dashboard. In its menu, click Edit profile. The page is called Instructor profile. An instructor fills it in on their own. No admin access is needed. Step two. Write About you. Headline is a short line about what you do. Bio is a few sentences about you. Expertise is a list of skills, with a comma between them. Each one becomes a tag on the public page. Step three. Add your links. There are three. Website, Twitter or X handle, and LinkedIn U R L. A link you leave empty is left off the public page. This instructor has only a website. Step four. Save the profile. Click Save profile at the bottom of the page. It is not clicked here. The public page shows the new text as soon as it is saved. Step five. See the public profile. Now sign in as a student. This is the page that View Full Profile opens on a course page. It has the name, the headline and the expertise tags. Learnomy adds the numbers itself, from the published courses. Under the bio are the courses this instructor teaches. That is all five. Edit profile opened, About you written, the links added, the profile saved, and the public profile seen. Your instructors can now introduce themselves to students.
