Transcript

In this tutorial you will put Learnomy courses on any WordPress page, with a block or with a shortcode. You need the free Learnomy plugin, and a page to put them on. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open a page in the editor. Find the Learnomy blocks. Set up the Course Grid block. Use a shortcode instead. Then see it as a student. Step one. Open a page in the editor. In your WordPress admin, click Pages, and find the page you want courses on. Click its title to open it in the editor. Step two. Find the Learnomy blocks. Click the Block Inserter, the plus button at the top left, and search for Course. Course Card shows one course. Course Grid shows several. Course Catalog shows them all, and Enroll Button adds a button for one course. Step three. Set up the Course Grid block. Click the block on the page. Its settings open on the right, in the Block tab. Show decides which courses appear. Latest Courses, Courses in a Category, or Specific Courses I pick. Number to show and Columns set the size of the grid. Step four. Use a shortcode instead. In a page builder, or anywhere blocks are not available, use a Learnomy shortcode. This Shortcode block holds the course search. The course grid has a shortcode too. It takes a limit, and a number of columns. When the page looks right, click Save at the top right. Step five. See it as a student. Sign in as a student and open the page. The search box comes from the shortcode. The three cards under it come from the Course Grid block. They are the same cards the course catalog uses. That is all five. A page opened in the editor, the Learnomy blocks found, the Course Grid block set up, a shortcode used instead, and the result seen as a student. You can now show your courses on any page of your site. Next in this series: Choose a quiz mode.
